Mari Marsh

As Office Manager and Legal Assistant, Mari is the person who keeps the practice running smoothly behind the scenes. For many clients, hers is the first friendly voice they hear when they call the office — and someone they come to rely on throughout the life of their case. She answers and directs the firm’s incoming calls, schedules appointments, and manages the office calendar, making sure clients and attorneys are always where they need to be. 

A significant part of Mari’s work centers on the medical side of every personal injury claim. She obtains, organizes, and tracks clients’ medical records and medical bills from hospitals, physicians, and treatment providers across the course of their care. Because the careful documentation of a client’s injuries and expenses is at the very heart of a strong claim, Mari’s thorough, detail-oriented handling of those records directly supports the results the firm is able to achieve for the people it represents. 

Beyond medical records and scheduling, Mari oversees the countless logistics that keep a busy law office functioning. She maintains and organizes case files, assists in the preparation and electronic filing of legal documents, coordinates with vendors and outside service providers, manages office billing and case expenses, and ensures that the office is always in good working order. Whatever needs to be handled to keep a case — and the office — moving forward, Mari is very often the one quietly making it happen. 

Mari brings more than 25 years of law-office experience to her role. She began her career in the legal field in Chicago in the 1990s before joining the firm in 1998, and over the years she has become an indispensable member of the team. Colleagues and clients alike value her organization, her reliability, her warmth, and her knack for solving whatever problem the day happens to bring. A longtime resident of the New Lenox area, Mari is known above all for the calm, capable, and genuinely caring presence she brings to the office each and every day.
